Swayam Central - Free Courses, Lectures For All Fields

SWAYAM is a programme launched by the Government of India to achieve the three cardinal principles of Education Policy: access, equity, and quality. The goal of this effort is to make the best teaching and learning resources available to everyone, including the most disadvantaged. SWAYAM aims to bridge the digital divide for students who have been left behind by the digital revolution and are unable to participate in the knowledge economy.

This is accomplished through the use of a platform that allows for the hosting of all classroom-taught courses from Class 9 to post-graduation to be accessed by anyone, anywhere, at any time. All of the courses are interactive, prepared by the best teachers in the country, and are available to any learner at no cost. More than 1,000 specially selected faculty and teachers from across the country helped to create these courses.

SWAYAM courses are divided into four quadrants: (1) video lectures, (2) specially prepared reading material that can be downloaded/printed, (3) self-assessment tests via tests and quizzes, and (4) an online discussion forum for clarification.Steps have been taken to enhance the learning experience through the use of audio-video and multi-media, as well as cutting-edge pedagogy and technology.

• Management studies at IIMB (Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore).
• Teacher Training Program NITTTR (National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research)

Courses delivered through SWAYAM are free to students; however, students who want a SWAYAM certificate must register for the final proctored exams, which cost money, and attend in-person at designated centres on specific dates. Certificate eligibility will be announced on the course page, and learners will receive certificates only if this criteria is met. Universities/colleges that accept credit transfer for these courses may use the grades/certificates earned in these courses to do so.
