Course Hero is an online learning portal that provides course-specific study materials. Course Hero, founded in 2006 by a college student named Andrew Grauer, is on a mission to help students graduate confident and prepared.

Course Hero assists students as they seek assistance and resources to better grasp their material, prepare for examinations, learn, and recall. Students may pay or donate their own resources to have access to millions of learning materials for every topic, including practise problems, study guides, textbook solutions, and step-by-step explanations. Over 80,000 faculty members from the United States, Canada, and Australia have joined the Course Hero educator community to exchange materials, interact with other teachers, and refine innovative instructional practises.

The increasing community of higher education instructors on Course Hero shares the aims of assisting fellow educators in developing their teaching abilities and assisting students in learning and succeeding in their studies. Educators use Course Hero to exchange materials, engage with other professors, and refine innovative instructional practises. The platform is used by over 80,000 instructors. Assignments, quizzes, case studies, lecture notes, and other materials are provided by faculty. Faculty members may also use Course Hero to gain new skills and teaching tactics from instructors and subject matter experts via a variety of event formats such as seminars, forums, and community meetings.

Scholarships :

Supporting students and teachers entails more than just providing online study and course materials, tutoring, and access to an educational community. We applaud students' often herculean efforts to graduate confident and prepared. The Hero Student Scholarship honours students who have surmounted challenges during their college careers. We will give them $5,000 per year until they graduate. We also offer scholarships to first-generation college students, community leaders, and veterans, among other things.

Grit in College :

The College Grit programme is an effort that recognises and supports students and the everyday struggles they face on their way to graduation. The initiative encourages children to share their grit stories, no matter how large or little, and to be recognised for their bravery, tenacity, and resourcefulness. Graduation is more difficult than ever for many students, and COVID-19 has only increased the difficulties encountered by the new majority of students who work while in school, have children or someone dependent on them, or are unclear where they will receive their next meal. It is critical that students feel supported and encouraged as they work toward graduation.

Assistance in an emergency :

The Covid-19 epidemic exacerbated to the stress that students and instructors were already under. Course Hero has given $500,000 to a Student Emergency Aid Initiative to assist students and instructors through this difficult time. Students sought for financial assistance to meet their immediate requirements. We also provided students and educators with access to learning and teaching materials in our document collection, as well as enabled peer evaluations among educators seeking feedback on their remote-teaching techniques.
