The MIT Open Learning Library houses selected instructional content from MIT OpenCourseWare and MITx courses, which is accessible to anybody, anywhere in the world, at any time. All content is free to use. Some resources, notably those from MIT OpenCourseWare, are available for non-commercial download, remix, and reuse.
MIT is dedicated to disseminating educational information across the world. The Open Learning Library expands on the ability to study from MIT at your own speed, similar to MIT OpenCourseWare, while engaging with issues and receiving immediate feedback.
You will be able to track your own progress throughout the course. There are no discussion forums, certifications, or the option to transfer your work to edX.org in the Open Learning Library. We will do our best to notify people who want to engage in a conversation or earn a certification for finishing a course when a credential-bearing offering is available on edX.org.
You found us during our prototype phase. We hope you will join us on this adventure. We will add additional courses, create site features, and improve the user experience over time. What distinguishes the MIT Open Learning Library from MIT OpenCourseWare or MITx courses on edX?
Consider the three resources to be a spectrum of offers that use MIT material for various sorts of learning experiences. On one end, there's edX.org, which offers end-to-end course experiences with certifications, live teacher assistance in a discussion forum, and start and finish dates. On the opposite end of the spectrum is MIT OCW, which is an entirely self-guided experience with published content from MIT courses that is always open and licenced for reuse, but does not feature any interactive content. In the middle is the Open Learning Library. Open Learning Library, like many MITx courses, offers interactive course experiences with auto-graded tests that provide quick feedback and allow you to track your progress as you progress through the subject's curriculum. This content, like OCW, is constantly open and self-guided, with no live assistance, discussion forum, or credentials.
This website does not promote any sort of website; our major goal is to provide the greatest reference for students, teachers, novices, and so on. This website also provides excellent resources for a variety of technical, educational, and practical topics. As a result, you should utilise this website and leave comments in the comment box, as well as provide feedback using the contact form.
