NASSCOM, a non-profit industry association, is the apex body for India's $227 billion IT BPM industry, which has made a tremendous contribution to India's GDP, exports, employment, infrastructure, and global visibility. This industry employs the most people in the private sector in India.

Since its inception in 1988, NASSCOM has relentlessly supported the IT BPM industry in its ongoing quest for trust and respect from various stakeholders, even as it reorients itself time and again to remain innovative, without ever losing its humane and friendly touch.

Through policy advocacy, NASSCOM is focused on building the architecture critical to the development of the IT BPM sector, as well as assisting in setting up the strategic direction for the sector to unleash its potential and dominate newer frontiers.

NASSCOM's 3000+ members account for 90 percent of the industry's revenue, allowing the organisation to spearhead initiatives at the local, national, and global levels. As a result, the IT BPM industry has emerged as a global powerhouse.
